Mudstone is an italian metal band whose members are from Milan and Como. The band was formed in 2008 by guitarist Lorenzo Tucceri Cimini, who met bass player Davide De Robertis after having placed an advertisement.
The two started immediately to write their own songs, while searching for new members. After several auditions and some line up changes, finally in 2009 Francesco Galimberti (drums) and Andrea Strati (vocals) joined the band, contributing to set the band's musical direction towards a more personal and modern one.
Mudstone is an ambitious project, in their music you can hear all the influences that helped the band to create it's own sound: a mix of hard rock, southern and post metal, melodic and aggressive, sometimes bluesy, blending different styles in each single song.
Recorded in 2010, Mudstone (11 tracks - 45 min.) is their first studio album, 100% self produced, where all the songs were written and arranged by the Mudstone members.
